The sun is shining, the birds are chirping, and 17th Avenue has a brand new spot to check out. Via Convenience has just opened up its doors where The Rocket custom t-shirt shop used to be, and it’s already shaking things up.

Touted as ‘not your average convenience store’, Via Convenience is locally-owned and operated and also champions locally-made goods and products. You can find candles, housekeeping products, and even coffee from companies right here in Calgary! In fact, they’ve got an entire wall dedicated to local products!

Along with all of that, you can find the typical fixin’s a convenience store needs to be, well, convenient. Coffee, treats, snacks, toothpaste, baking items…you name it, Via has got it.

Now, once the summer weather rolls around the real star of the show will definitely be the soft-serve ice cream at the back of the store. Strolling 17th Ave is already a hot thing to do, so cool yourself off with a sweet (and cheap) treat from Via and you’re all set.

And of course, we’re always excited to have one more place to hit up on 17th Ave for post-bar snacks. Welcome to the Red Mile, Via Convenience!
