One Seattle resident got a lot more than she bargained for this weekend at a local shop. An unnamed woman purchased a craft kit for some good wholesome fun but found something unexpected inside. Instead of a craft kit, the woman got a kilo of cocaine. Yes, you read that correctly.

Now we’re not sure how cocaine and craft kits get mixed up but luckily this woman did the right thing and sought help. Upon opening the crochet animal hat kit, she found the cocaine which was simply labeled with 100% in rubber packaging. Definitely 0% crochet kit.

The Seattle Police Department swung by and picked up the package, later confirming that it was indeed 2.2 pounds of cocaine. Now the shop it came from remains unnamed as well but we do know it’s located in the 730 block of North 95th Street. So we’ll be curious to see what happens and if more suspicious craft kits turn up.
