If you’re the type of person who sees just as much fun on Monday as they do on Friday, then this new weekly Backyard Cookout food series should be right up your alley. The Boxcar, complete with a brand new patio, has partnered with the Tacofino food truck to bring this idea to life. So, let’s check it out!
First, we gotta quickly mention the new patio. Revealed just a few weeks ago, The Boxcar completely transformed their old patio into a bright, vibrant space. Pair that with added seating and a little more greenery, and this is sure to be a must-visit spot this summer.

Ok, now for the food. Basically, The Boxcar will be hosting different local chefs to do what they do best all summer long. And, the lineup for June has already been revealed:
June 7th/June 14th- Between 2 Buns Burgers
June 21st- Jason Sussman of Tacofino and Dallah El Chami of Superbaba
June 28th- Keith Allison of Pizza Coming Soon
Honestly, these are all knockout picks, especially on a nice June evening. In addition to the food options, The Boxcar will be donating $1 from the weekly special cocktail to a local charity every Monday. And, for the savvier customers, you get an hour of overlap between happy hour and the menu of the day (happy hour runs from 3-6PM).
