Well folks, a brand new summer option has touched down in Vancouver, and it’s got a decidedly magical theme. Yesterday, Wings and Wizards officially opened to the public, offering an immersive touch-free experience for all those wondering what wizard school is actually like. Here’s what to know!

The experience spans some 7,000 square feet inside of BC Place. Divided into different sections, the route sees visitors attend wizarding school, explore a castle, and finally head into an ‘Enchanted Forest’. The purpose? Recover a rare, jewelled dragon egg that has disappeared.

Maybe even more interesting though is how it all works. Visitors (whether solo or in a group) can get wands that will interact with their surroundings. These wands can be used to conduct spells, solve riddles, and even move through time and space! Each group will get one wand to help them on their journey, although additional ones can be purchased for the visit.

Intended for both the young and ‘young at heart’, Wings and Wizards will be running from now until September. For more information on the experience, or if you’d like to learn about the current health protocols in place, just click the link below.

Otherwise, round up some magic-loving members of your bubble and check out this brand new activity in the city!
