Who doesn’t love that very thin French pancake we all know and love? And to aid in our love of crepes, a new gourmet buckwheat crepe joint is opening up downtown.

The restaurant is going to be called Ça Marche and will be cooking up both sweet and savoury crepes hopefully by this summer. The restaurant, which is in the new Vancouver House development, is headed by Maxime Bettili whose crepe recipes are taken right from his home in Brittany, France. Oh and he is also the co-owner of the wonderful Au Comptoir, so he knows what he’s doing.

Not only will Ça Marche be cooking up some amazing crepes, they will also be a cider bar. It might be our most anxiously awaited restaurant in a long time.

The place is slated to open up this year and will be right beside the soon-to-open restaurants Momofuku Noodle Bar and Autostrada Osteria. If you’re a Vancouver foodie like us, this summer truly can not come sooner.

They’ve given no specific date for when they’re going to open, but you can get all your Ça Marche updates right here.
