And to make things sweeter, the accidental cash donators gave Lessing $1000 for her honesty. So we’ll take that as a reminder to do the right thing and also that everything comes back around in one way or another.
If you’re wondering, the found cash sets a few records for the company. In fact, it’s the largest cash find at an Oklahoma Goodwill and also one of the largest at any of the thrift chains stores worldwide according to CNN.
