A free outdoor movie series kicks off in Vancouver this week!

Movie lovers, you’re not going to want to pass this opportunity up! Vancouver Civic Theatres announced over the weekend that their free outdoor movie series, Sunset Cinema, is coming back this September. For the next few weeks, you’ll be able to see some great movies in an outdoor setting. Here’s the scoop.

The series will be taking place outside of the Queen Elizabeth Theatre, with movies kicking off ‘at dusk’ pretty much Wednesday night. Of course, we think you should arrive early to get a good spot, and definitely bring your own chairs to relax in.

The lineup this month is:

  • September 1st- Trolls World Tour
  • September 8th- Jumanji: The Next Level
  • September 22nd- Spider-Man: Far from Home
  • September 29th- Pitch Perfect

Weather permitting, we think that Spider-Man: Far from Home is the must-see movie from this lineup. It’s also going to be the most popular, if the recent record-breaking trailer for No Way Home is any sign. So, maybe grab a drink after work nearby and keep an eye on the space.

Whatever your plan, we hope that you enjoy this free outdoor movie series coming to Vancouver!
