The ultimate foodie event is headed to one of Toronto’s favourite spots this summer. For the second year in a row, folks can head on over to The Bentway to participate in the delicious Summer Food Series. The season-long recurring outdoor occasion is bringing some of the best summer eats to the city.
So, what is The Bentway Summer Food Series? We’re glad you asked. There are two major components of the seasonal event. The first, the Communal Picnic, offers three-course picnic meals for members of the community. You can pick them up to enjoy at home, or eat at The Bentway. The meals will feature a rotating selection of local chefs and international cuisines. The Communications Picnic is set to take place every Thursday evening.

The second part of The Bentway’s Summer Food Series is the Communal Brunch. Every Saturday at noon, you can enjoy delicious eats presented by a collaboration between The Depanneur and The Bentway. The menu features Mexica comfort food with a Toronto brunch twist.
Along with the delicious offerings, The Bentway’s Summer Food Series also serves as a fundraiser for their Pay It Forward initiative. When you eat here, you’ll have the option to contribute to the program; which is dedicated to providing fresh communal meals for this at The Spadina-Fort York Community Care Program.
So, what’re you waiting for? You can pre-order your Summer Food Series meal today! All participants must pre-order ahead of time. You can do so online here.
