Calgary Pride Week had a banging start, so get ready for Calgary Pride weekend! Like every year, they have a roster of fun-meets-fab events for all ages and moods. Also, like every year, they are saving the best for last. Enter: WERK’s A-list headlined events.
Forever bringing the spiciest LGBTQ+ events to Calgarians, WERK collabed with Concorde Entertainment Group this year. The result is an amazing line-up of events and activations happening around town.
Looking for a lip-smacking Happy Hour? Done. Need a boozy brunch? Done. Want an entertaining as hell Drag Show with celebrity Queens? Done and done.

Pride Happy Hour with special Pride beer
Because no event is ever fun with a few cold ones, WERK and Village Brewery got together to bring you a special Pride beer— Disco Tits Glitter Lime Lager. You can enjoy the beer at National on 17th during Happy Hour amidst Drag performances and a live DJ. The event is free to attend but given the limited seating, you will need to make a res.

Pride Ignite hosted by Kendall Gender
Gear up for the biggest Drag Show of the year as international singing sensation, RÊVE, RuPaul’s Drag Race legend RAJA, Stephanie Prince and Kaos of Canada’s Drag Race take the stage. Following them will be local legends and a live DJ to keep the party going. The event will be hosted by Kendall Gender of Canada’s Drag Race.

Pride Drag Brunch with entertainment galore
Great grubs, delicious sips, chill vibe and hot performances… this brunch has it all. Hosted by Lilith Fair with Jack Fowle on decks, the all-ages brunch will feature killer performances by Kendall Gender and Stephanie Prince of Canada’s Drag Race. And also a line-up of local and national performers.

The super chic pub will turn into a massive party for the grown-ups come Pride Parade eve. Expect gogo dancers and music by Joanna Magik and Daddy Nick Bertossi of Vancouver. There will also be Hush Lingerie on-site for those who want to explore their wild side.

The grand finale… Pride Parade
With thousands marching and rainbow-coloured everything on the streets, the Parade needs no intro whatsoever. However, this year’s parade will see a fancy new float. WERK and Concorde Entertainment Group have also partnered to bring a celebratory float to the Parade this year. Make sure you catch it.
