Barrio Latin Music Festival

For the first time ever, Toronto is getting a massive, two-day Latin music festival, bringing some of the best musical acts under one roof. And they’re pretty big names too!

On August 20 and 21, Barrio Latin Music Festival is coming to Toronto’s Downsview Park with a packed lineup all weekend. From the newest DJ acts to your favourite throwback artists, BLMF is sure to keep you singing and dancing all night long.

Taste of Manila 2022

A massive celebration of Filipino food and culture is taking over North York this weekend. Taste of Manila is said to be the largest event of its kind in North America and the most attended Filipino festival outside of the Philippines.

This weekend marks the ninth edition of this beloved festival, with all kinds of Filipino cuisine, entertainment, performances, and activities to participate in.

163rd Queen’s Plate

One of Canada’s “most prestigious events” is coming back this weekend and you’re invited. This historic tradition will celebrate its 163rd edition and spectators can enjoy the races, entertainment, and sumptuous dining packages.

This event is also famously fashionable, with big hats and garden party chic attire being the unofficial dress code. Throw on your finest attire and head off to the races!

Japan Festival Canada

The Lights Festival

Fill up the night sky with stunning floating lanterns at this one-night-only event near Toronto this weekend.

The Lights Festival is kicking off on August 20, about an hour west of Toronto. The event aims to gather people from all backgrounds to share “an uplifting, positive, and unforgettable experience,” according to organizers. Get ready to witness some beautiful sights!

The Canadian National Exhibition (CNE)

Toronto Chinatown Festival

After two long years, the Toronto Chinatown Festival is finally coming back. This beloved event transforms the Spadina and Dundas area into a massive celebration of Chinese food, culture, tradition, and art.

You can expect an “enchanted two-day program filled with cultural performances, traditional street eats, family activities on Huron St., a parade from the 8 Immortals, Dragon and Lion Dance performances,” and much more.
