It may not be spooky season yet, but it sure will feel like it at the Black Lagoon pop-up in Toronto this August.
The Halloween bar that popped up in the west end last October is coming back to give the city an early taste of what to expect this year.
If you’re someone who loves an excuse to wear a costume, you’ll definitely want to pay this spot a visit next Tuesday, August 23.
“Our cities are locked in and we’re ready to take this show on the road,” said Black Lagoon on Instagram.

“These will be little previews of what’s to come in October […] so if you’re already at Spirit Halloween getting your costumes sorted come on down.”
The one-day preview will also be hitting Montreal and Vancouver, as well as cities throughout the States.
Come October, the pop-up will return for freakishly good times leading up to Halloween in Toronto and seven other cities in North America.

The pop-up will be held in the Bloor St West and Ossington Ave area, and you can likely expect many of the same ghoulish details and cocktail creations that were at last year’s pop-up.
Complete with red light fixtures, lit candles, fog machines, and death metal music, the ambiance alone was enough to give you goosebumps.
Not to mention the skeletons, vampires, and Grim Reaper-like figures lurking in every corner of the space.
More details about the Toronto pop-up will be announced in the coming few days, so stay tuned. Prepare to be scared!
