Even more exciting? They’ve extended their service to Hornby Island with direct flights that will have you there in 45 minutes! The Indigenous-owned airline now connects passengers to seven stunning destinations across BC, including Gabriola Island, Decourcy Island, Thetis Island, Ruxton Island, and now Hornby Island. The addition of the Vancouver Harbour base to the Gabriola Island terminal will no doubt open up a ton of new destinations for air travellers to choose from.

“Flying from Vancouver Harbour positions us in a competitive market as it is a central and desirable location, which will open us up to further partnerships and connect us to more passengers,” said Co-Founder Alison Evans.

Scenic aerial tours

Want to commemorate your summer with a little joyride around Vancouver? Gulf Island Seaplanes also offers scenic aerial tours around the city – and the panoramic views are simply breathtaking. If you’re looking for a fun date idea or a way to celebrate a milestone, this is a great option.
