Every good story has a beginning, middle and end. Right? Now, years after the city turned its very first page, the District building in the Beltline is finally drawing to its conclusion, and we couldn’t be more excited to see what happens!

We’ve watched this entire thing grow from an idea to a beautifully done $10 million hub, where work meets play and community meets reinvention.

Hunker down, Canada! A Polar vortex is coming & it’s expected to end our warm winter

Described as “a campus” of sorts, The new District of Beltline, which starts at Sitting at 211 – 11 Avenue SW, will have retail spaces, offices, restaurants, and a glass-covered ‘Market Shed,’ with year-round indoor/outdoor areas so people can comfortably grab a patio beer after work… even in January!

To make this all happen, they’ve actually just taken existing buildings and married them to make one super building. Fun, right? Also, in order to really bring it to life, they’ve not only changed the insides completely. they’ve given the exterior a totally new, more artistic look.

With an impressive 370,000 square feet, Spear Street Capital has built a centre where the possibilities are practically endless and something is always happening.

Because they’ve started leasing out their spaces already, it’s safe to say that we shouldn’t have to wait much longer – so keep an eye out! Heck, if you’re in the neighbourhood, why not take a look-see! It really is that cool.
