We don’t know about you, but we doubt the resurgence of the roarin’ twenties would be complete without some fancy schmancy new options for our city’s socialites. The Edmonton City Club, a new private club coming to the downtown core, is about to open in Edmonton, and we’ve got the scoop on how it will work!

Set to open this fall, the Edmonton City Club will be taking over the top floor of the Edmonton City Centre East Mall. The space will become a spot for both professional and social activities, with amenities ranging from a meeting space to a dining room.

Members of the club can look forward to networking events, special meals hosted by the Club, and social activities for members and their guests to enjoy. So, while you might not have to work on your golf game just yet, we do advise that you brush up on your bridge skills if you’re thinking of joining.

Speaking of joining, the new Edmonton City Club is offering limited-time discounts on annual dues for their no-risk introductory membership. Like the city’s private golf clubs, there are full, intermediate and senior memberships available, and even one for those who don’t spend the full year in the city.

As for us? Well, we’re just hoping that a couple of our pals will invite us along every once in a while.
