It seems like everyone with a voice has started a podcast. We’ve even considered it! Then we look at our competition. Why would we bother when there are already so many incredible Northerners killing it on the mic right now? They’ve got it well handled, so we’ll just save our chat for the unsuspecting. Sorry, future Uber drivers! Here are 8 Canadian podcasts totally worth giving a listen.

CANADIAN TRUE CRIME

MO’ MONEY

This podcast may be more “educational” than the others listed above, but don’t get it twisted. The hosts are so well-spoken and entertaining that you’ll hardly even notice that you actually learned something by the end of each episode.

GROW-UPS READ THINGS THEY WROTE AS KIDS

The title of this bad boy is pretty self-explanatory. Adults read the ridiculous stories, letters, emails, and messages that they wrote as children.  The premise is simple but clever, and it’s freaking hilarious.

CANADALAND

Canadaland is an extremely polarizing podcast that covers everything from Canadian media, news and current affairs to politics. Join in on an intellectually challenging conversation about our country from the unfiltered mouths of journalists, writers and host Jesse Brown.

THE STEVEN DANGLE PODCAST

Just three dudes, talking about sports and pop culture. This one is an easy listen, it’s funny and it’s pretty relatable. There’s over 250 episodes of this show, so cozy in, kids.  You’re in for one hell of an icy ride.

Ahh, It’s like music to our ears… but not! Podcasts are an incredible escape and honestly, we think we could all use one of those right now. Throw those earbuds in and chill out! These Canadian podcasts are well worth the listen.
