So, we were on one of our random Insta scrolls when we came across a bucket list that made us laugh so damn hard that we legit choked on our coffee. We did what any sane ‘grammer would have done… sniffed around the account only to discover that Dwarf Stars- the source of our tear-inducing laughter- is a vegan chocolate brand.
After a little more sniffing and a lot of tasting we’ve come to the conclusion that their vegan & allergy-friendly chocolates and their sense of humour are− as HIMYM’s Barney would put it− legen-wait-for-it-dary. Did we just save Halloween? Heck yes (wonder if someone will make a movie about us).

Now back to the chocolates— So, Dwarf Stars offers chocolates free of dairy, peanuts, gluten and 7 other allergens. To say that they are just as good as the regular ones would be an understatement. They’re one better. Their Strawberries & Creme Vegan White Chocolate Bar, in particular, is our fav.
Part of the reason the brand crafts these vegan and allergy-friendly chocolates is because Gerrit, Founder, Red Seal Chef & Official DS Chocolate Maker has a family history of peanut allergy and Kathryn, Other Founder, Brain Behind DS Humour & Official Chocolate Eater is lactose intolerant. In addition to their dietary constraints, they also bring their quirky chemistry to the brand (they’ve been BFFs for over 12 years) which is what gives these chocolates their eccentric-meets-gourmet character.
The other part is that, like any chocolate connoisseur, they know and believe that chocolates aren’t mere desserts. Chocolates are a foodgasmic experience that needs to be shared with everyone irrespective of their lifestyle or diet. That’s precisely why you’ll also find some sugar-free and keto-friendly options in the mix. So, your Halloween isn’t just going to taste good but also feel good the next morning.
As crazy as it may sound, they are also psychics, or so we’ve come to believe. They rightly predicted our reaction to the first bite of Dark Chocolate Pumpkin Seed Butter Cups− a big fat HOLY C$#P (LOL).
