This is not your average snack bar. There are a lot of newcomers to Toronto’s budding cannabis scene, but Green Merchant is quickly making a name for itself with its unique variety of THC-infused treats and beverages. The independent and minority-owned dispensary operates several boutique locations around the GTA, each with its own vibe and open space to kick back and sample some infused creations.

Green Merchant CEO Jeff Pang told Curiocity all about their creative cocktail menu. The most popular drink, the Cotton Creamsicle, combines iced tea and a fruity beverage with three legal products, as well as THC powder and sugar floss to spin infused vanilla cotton candy. Other drinks include the Bong Island Iced Tea, Arnold Calmer, Glowing Cherry, and more.

The boutique’s budtenders will walk you through taste pairings and educate you on the expected effects so that your experience is special and safe.

You can try a cocktail tasting at their Bloorcourt and Liberty Village boutiques, as well as the Annex location, which opens this month. Plus, their downtown location at 640 Yonge Street has a “constant flow” of popcorn that can also be infused.

The Danforth store has a backyard patio where you can hang out and sip your cocktail in the sunshine, and the Liberty Village location has a “secret indoor garden” where you can meet other folks and join a Smash Bros tournament.

Green Merchant gets seriously creative with its offerings. Last month, they served THC-infused chocolate s’mores and hosted a RuPaul’s Drag Race night.
