YYC is back open for business and some of the city’s pre-COVID favourites aren’t messing around! Hot off the heels of their brand new astronaut ice cream bar launch, TELUS Spark has announced that they’re also gearing up to open Canada’s very first permanent digital immersion gallery and will do so sooner rather than later.

In fact, those who have been looking forward to putzing around a projection of the brain ever since the science centre teased it in March may want to consider having their credit card on hand; because to our excitement, the attraction will actually be ready to go this July!

As you might recall, all of these exciting new additions were a part of a $5.88 million renovation that also included upgrades for their dome theatre and new classrooms. Fun right?

Honestly, we think that it’s safe to say that all of this is pretty well deserved – after all, this year will mark Spark’s 10th year giving curious cats (of all ages) a place to explore, learn and expand their minds.

So… get ready, folks!

The gallery, which you’ll be able to experience regularly starting July 29th, will feature sounds, images and floor to ceiling visualizations in time with beautiful narratives written and recorded by artists and scientist from all over the world, with new shows every six months.

Could it get any better?

For more information or to purchase timed tickets feel free to check out their website below – you won’t regret it! It’s going to be magical.
