Just when you think the TELUS Spark Science Centre couldn’t get any cooler they go and do something like this! Though they’ve been closed to the public for several months now, they’ve remained incredibly busy and soon enough we’ll get to see the fruits of their labour.

According to a press release sent to Curiocity, beginning this May, guests can hit their brand new Ice Cream Bar, which will feature futuristic flavours in line with the wonderful world of space and exploration.

Instead of your typical cold cone, this new bar will actually serve ‘astronaut ice cream,’ with each flavour representing a different planet.

But wait, There’s more! TELUS Spark also announced that they’ll be seeing $5.88 million in additional upgrades. These renovations will include not only the cafe but dome theatre improvements, new classrooms, and a permanent digital art gallery – the first of its kind in all of Canada!

With this new exhibit, curious cats will actually be able to actually walk through the brain or through the universe. Now we don’t know about you guys, but that’s practically a dream come true for us.

TELUS Spark is set to reopen on March 25th, so we won’t have to wait a while longer to check them out before they move everything around on us. Until then, Calgary – prepare yourselves! Amazing things are happening at the science centre.
