Christmas may be over but the fun hasn’t come to an end, Seattle. If you want to keep the holiday spirit alive and get out of the house, there’s no shortage of things to do. From skating to magical markets, these are 10 of the best things to do this weekend in Seattle.

Seattle Gingerbread Village

Take in the sights of six-foot-tall gingerbread structures at the Sheraton. The hotel lobby is transformed until Jan. 1, 2025, so don’t miss out on the magic this weekend. Any donations from the Gingerbread Village will go towards the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation’s Northwest Chapter.

When: Friday, Dec. 27 to Sunday, Dec. 29 (9 a.m. to 11 p.m. Friday and Saturday or 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Sunday)

Wildlanterns

The Woodland Park Zoo will be illuminated with light displays and interactive exhibits during Wildlanterns this weekend. Not only that but there will be food and beverages available so you can complete your evening out. A map of the zoo is available so you can plan out your adventure ahead of time.

When: Friday, Dec. 27 to Sunday, Dec. 29 with time slots between 4 p.m. and 7 p.m.
Where: 5500 Phinney Avenue North
Cost: $35.95 to $39.95 per ticket

Village of Lights

Over half a million lights will take over this Bavarian Alpine Village every day from now until the end of February. Free to attend, the lights will leave Leavenworth all aglow and make for a perfect place to walk around on a chilly evening. There’s even a live webcam stream of the area so you can see the conditions before you head over.

When: Friday, Dec. 27 to Sunday, Dec. 29

Cost: Free

Enchant

Enchant is the World’s Largest Christmas Light Maze and it awaits even after the holiday. The maze is made up of 80,000 square feet of light sculpture. According to the experience, you will be on the search “for the missing fragments of Santa’s Magic Timepiece” as you find your way.

Depending on which time slot you choose (any day of the weekend) tickets range from $36 to $46 per person.

When: Friday, Dec. 27 to Sunday, Dec. 29 with time slots between 4:30 p.m. and 9:30 p.m.

Christmas Dive Bar

This seasonal pop-up located at The Woods is the place to be if you want to keep the holiday spirit going. The nostalgic decor will transport you back in time while you sip festive drinks and listen to some fantastic holiday tunes. No reservations are required and you’ll want to get there this weekend as the pop-up only runs until Jan. 1, 2025.

When: Friday, Dec. 27 to Sunday, Dec. 29 from 5 p.m. to late

Cost: Free admission, food and drink prices vary

Astra Lumina

This enchanted night walk at the Seattle Chinese Garden has “nine cosmic zones along a 1-mile celestial trail.” This all-ages experience will feature projections, lighting, and curated music as you wander along the paths and zones.

When: Friday, Dec. 27 to Sunday, Dec. 29 with time slots between 4:45 p.m. and 8:45 p.m.
Where: 6000 16th Avenue Southwest
Cost: $31 to $35 per ticket

A Christmas Carol

This is the final show of the season for A Christmas Carol at ACT Theatre. See the classic holiday story of Ebenezer Scrooge and his transformative journey up close and personal. Tickets range from $82 to $98.

When: Friday, Dec. 27 at 7 p.m.
Where: 700 Union Street
Cost: $82 to $98 per ticket

The Nutcracker

This is your last chance to see Geroge Balanchine’s The Nutcracker. The final shows of the season are at 12:30 p.m. and 5:30 p.m. on both nights with tickets ranging from $29 to $207.

When: Friday, Dec. 27 and Saturday, Dec. 28 with shows at 12:30 p.m. and 5:30 p.m.

Art and Makers Market

This market at Big Whale Consignment will have” one-of-a-kind products made by local artists and makers of ceramics, art, candles, and homewares local Seattle Artists and beyond.” Treat yourself to something special.

When: Saturday, Dec. 28 from 12:30 p.m. and 5 p.m.
Where: 10001 Aurora Avenue North Seattle
Cost: Free

Kraken skate & watch 

Skate on the same ice as the Seattle Kraken! The Kraken skate and watch is a chance to hit the ice at the team’s practice facility while the away game is broadcast. The family-friendly event begins at 1 p.m.

When: Saturday, Dec. 28 at 1 p.m.
Where: 10601 5th Avenue Northeast
Cost: $15.41 per ticket
