Voodoo Doughnut finally has an opening date, yep, the wait is over, Seattle! Over a year after it was announced that the iconic donut shop would open a Seattle location, a date was made official.

The grand opening is happening tomorrow, Dec. 10 at 8 a.m., and there will be something special for the first 50 people in line.

When and where is Voodoo Doughnut opening?

If you want to be one of the first people in Seattle to check out the new location (and eat a bunch of doughnuts, of course) you’ll want to start lining up well before the doors open at 8 a.m.

The shop can be found at 1201 Pine Street at the west end of the Pike-Pine neighborhood.

Currently, there are 21 Voodoo shops open in the U.S. with Seattle as the 22nd, and a 23rd location coming soon to Venice Beach, California.

What to expect from Voodoo Doughnut

Voodoo Doughnut was created by two friends, Kenneth “Cat Daddy” Pogson and Tres Shannon, when the pair realized Portland lacked doughnut shops.

Thus, Voodoo opened its doors to its first store in 2003.

“Voodoo Doughnut now offers more than 40 artisan flavor options, including over 10 vegan options with a focus on the guest experience,” shares the website.

Currently, the menu boasts delicious options such as Turtle Cheesecake, Banana Cream Pie, Gingerbread, Strawberry, Captain Krunch, Bubble Gum, Bacon Maple, Mango Tango, Peanut Butter and Jelly and Chocolate Coconut Cake (to name a few).

According to Voodoo Doughnut, 20% of sales from the Seattle location’s opening day will go to Farestart, “a social enterprise nonprofit helping break employment barriers with free job and life skills training and career pathways through food.”

In an Instagram post, it was also shared that the “first 50 people in line get an exclusive gift… so be there early.”

Welcome to Seattle, Voodoo!
