One of Ontario's most popular holiday festivals will take over a small town for a night

An award-winning holiday market is set to return this month in this small Ontario town. Get ready to celebrate the festive season at the Dresden Christmas Night Market. Here’s what to know.
The community of Dresden is located about three hours west of Toronto.
According to the Municipality of Chatham-Kent, this small town has over 2,400 residents and a rich heritage tied to the Underground Railroad.
One of its biggest annual events is the Dresden Christmas Night Market, which will take over the town on November 30th, offering a whimsical holiday shopping experience in its downtown core.
Pick out thoughtful gifts from one of the many local vendors, enjoy mouthwatering eats, grab a drink at the pop-up bar and take in all the sights as the town lights up with themed displays.

There will also be surprise entertainers, music and more.
According to organizers, the night market was created in 2017 and has become one of the biggest and original events of its kind in Southern Ontario.
“It’s a place to run into old friends and a place to make new friends,” shares the group. “A place to buy something special and a place to discover talented makers, performers, and creators. And it’s all organized for free by a small group of friends.”
It had also been added to Festival and Events Ontario’s list of the top 100 in the past.
All proceeds from the event will go to support Sidestreets Dresden Youth Centre.
