One of North America’s largest Victorian rose gardens is in Ontario

Stop and smell the roses the next time you’re in Niagara. Niagara Parks’ Botanical Gardens is home to award-winning landscapes and a Victorian rose garden that is one of the largest in North America.
About two hours away from Toronto are the Botanical Gardens in Niagara, Ontario. Here you’ll find 99 acres of seasonal blooms and stunning overflowing gardens.
According to the Botanical Gardens, visitors will find peaceful walking trails that lead through its many gardens, including the arboretum which showcases “one of Canada’s finest tree collections.”

Stop by the herb garden and treat your senses to its aromas or relax by the flower beds.
But the must-visit spot in the Botanical Gardens is the rose garden – it boasts over 2,400 roses.
It’s a sight to see. It’s actually one of North America’s “largest and most distinguished Victorian rose gardens.”
