If you didn’t know, Washington State Parks offers a wide array of overnight roofed accommodations that include yurts, cabins, wall tents, and teepees. There is also one stunning mountain lookout accommodation.

While some of these roofed accommodations are available year-round, others are seasonal. Which means, they will not be available after a certain date as the weather gets cooler. So let’s have a look at some of these fun overnight spots, and be sure to book them sooner than later!

First up, Yurts. According to Washington State Parks, yurts are described as “round canvas structures with a solid floor. “Yurts are a fun and fancy way to have a camping adventure without setting up a tent. These are open all year, with the peak summer season ending on September 15th. Some of these are in lush forests, and others are close to beaches.

And next we have the cabins at Washington State Parks. “We offer many different types of cabins with a variety of accommodations. All cabins are warm and cozy ways to explore state parks,” says the Parks.
