Listen up, Toronto golf fans! The RBC Canadian Open returns to the city next week, and with it comes a whole new experience you can take part in.

From June 8 to 11, the RBC Canadian Open will be bringing world class golfers into the Oakdale Golf and Country Club course in Toronto. Last year, as part of the event, theScore Bet had a fan experience that soared above ground. And for this year, fans will stay on the ground, playing right next to the pros!

According to theScore Bet, the brand new golf experience is called “HOLE ZERO”, and it is “a playable 150 yard Par 3” on the course. The activation is free with admission for attendees, and is also a competition for cash prizes. They say that “fans will be treated to a clubhouse, caddy, swing coach, gear and an official leaderboard, giving them everything they need to compete and play a full hole.”

“For this year’s RBC Canadian Open, we wanted to build on the excitement from last year and bring fans even closer to the action. So, we’ve gone from the sky with Skyline Seats, onto the course, with a first-of-its-kind experience, allowing fans to actually play a full hole at the event with our Hole Zero,” said Aubrey Levy, Senior Vice President, Content and Marketing, theScore Bet.

“We know golf fans are always eager to get as close to the action as possible, and now they’ll be able to do so right on the course and in a premium and unique way right alongside the pros. Hole Zero is another extension of our brand and activation strategy as we focus on adding real value for fans across our portfolio of partnerships and platforms.”

So how to you get a spot to play the HOLE ZERO? Just head into the event and visit theScore Bet’s HOLE ZERO Qualifiers – which is located at the Fare Way, the RBC Canadian Open Fanzone, and the Driving Range.

After qualifying, you will secure a scheduled time and be shuttled to and from HOLE ZERO!

The experience will be open from June 8 to 11th, starting at 9 am.

As for cash prizes, each day, theScore Bet will run a “Closest to the Pin” contest, with a $1,000 prize for the closest shot of the day. They are also offering a $75,000 prize to the first fan who scores a hole-in-one on HOLE ZERO during the tournament.

Besides golf, there will be music to celebrate the event over the next weekend. Six-time Grammy Award-winning pop group, Black Eyed Peas, will headline the RBCxMusic Concert Series on Friday, June 9th, while seven-time Grammy Award-winning Canadian icon Alanis Morissette will headline on Saturday, June 10, 2023.
