It’s no secret that Tacofino has some of the best Baja-inspired grub around, and BC is about to get not one, but four new locations!

As of September 11, Tacofino’s newest burrito bar will open along the Sea to Sky Highway in Squamish. So get ready for a new place to carb up before a hike!

The newest member of the Tacofino family will seat around 20 people indoors, and will offer a full take-out program featuring its signature burritos, tacos, and appetizers. As well, patrons can expect a slew of delicious vegetarian and vegan options on their lunch and dinner menus.

Oh, and a ton of happy hour specials from 3 to 6 pm daily! Tacos and margs after a day of adventuring in Squamish? Sign us up!

But to add to the excitement, Tacofino just shared that it will be opening three other locations, along with Squamish. According to the team, their expansion plans include new locations in Burnaby, White Rock, and Langford.

Tacofino’s new Burnaby location will be located in the Station Square development on McKay Avenue in the heart of Metrotown, with projected opening early 2024.

Meanwhile, Tacofino White Rock will be part of the Miramar complex being built by Bosa Development, and its projected opening is around the same time, early 2024. And finally, Tacofino Langford, which was announced earlier this summer, will open at Westshore Town Centre, projected opening also in early 2024.

As for Squamish’s new location, opening next week, you’ll find interior design by Shiloh Sukkau, Nada Awadi from Studio Beige, and graphic artist Courtney Presber – expect this new burrito bar to be a “bright and relaxed” space that pays homage to Californian diners and ’80s minimalism.

“We are very excited to finally share the opening date for Tacofino Squamish and news of our long-awaited expansion into the thriving communities of White Rock, Burnaby, and Langford,” said Gino Di Domenico, Tacofino Managing Partner. “These vibrant areas have been on our radar for quite some time, and we couldn’t
be more excited to finally be a part of their communities.”
