Maharlikas Resto Bar

The GTA’s newest Filipino resto bar has opened, offering guests all-day breakfast, pork, chicken, beef, veggie and seafood dishes, and more. All appetizers are 50% off from Tuesday to Thursday starting at 6 PM to 9 PM. What a delicious deal.

NBA Courtside Restaurant

What’s described as a “premium, sports-inspired dining experience,” the NBA Courtside Restaurant plans to officially open its doors in early April. Operated by Toronto-based Urban Dining Group, the new restaurant occupies 10,000-square-foot of space and features artwork and decor that celebrate the NBA. Including a modern food and beverage program led by Toronto-based chef Erica Karbelnik, there’s an exclusive retail space, private dining area, and outdoor dining space that’s expected to come in the summer.

Trinity Market

Trinity Market is a new snack bar/cafe/wine bar that just opened in the city. Though it’s only been a few days since it opened, it has definitely left a great impression on the Trinity Bellwoods community. Come for the food and stay for the vibes.

Black+Blue Steakhouse

The award-winning Vancouver-based restaurant will open its first Ontario restaurant in Spring 2023. Toronto can enjoy Black+Blue, Canada’s premier steak dining experience, and Glowbal Restaurant Group’s flagship restaurant, once it opens its doors in the city’s Financial District at 130 King Street W.

Dickey’s Barbecue Pit

Best known for serving Texas-style brisket, wings, ribs, pulled pork, and saucy sandwiches with a selection of sides like waffle fries, coleslaw, and baked beans, Dickey’s Barbecue Pit is an American staple and is sure to amass quite the following on the northern side of the border.

This new Bloordale Village bar opened its doors back in February but definitely needs some recognition. Whether you’re there for a cocktail, beer or some small eats, 1211 offers some of the most deliciously sophisticated plates that you most likely wouldn’t expect to find. It’s a mighty spot with a lot of heart. And if you’re familiar with DAM sandwiches, you’ll be pleased to know they’re being served here.
