Are you destined for the big screen? Well in that case you should probably move to LA. But if you still have big-screen dreams then you might want to consider being an extra. Because it just so turns out that Oscar-winning director Steven Soderbergh will be shooting a new movie set right here in Seattle. And you could be a part of it!
The movie is called “KIMI” and it’s scheduled to start shooting here in May. And it has a pretty star-studded team and cast. It’s written by David Koepp of Jurassic Park and stars Zoe Kravitz as the main character. Plus it’s pretty Seattle appropriate as it’s a thriller about a tech worker who discovers recorded evidence of a crime.

So if this sounds like something you’d like to be a part of you’re in luck. Because Steven Soderbergh wants you! All you have to do is submit some pictures of yourself, have a valid ID, and of course, live in the Seattle area. Plus the whole film will be shot with COVID-19 regulations and guidelines.
And if you’re wondering, you do get paid for being an extra. However, there is no guarantee of work if you’re selected.
