If you’re ready to take a break from Netflix this month you’re in luck. Because it just so happens that the nation’s largest film festival is returning for its 47th year. That’s right folks, Seattle International Film Festival is back and better than ever with a killer lineup.

This year the Seattle International Film Festival is boasting 93 features and 126 shorts from 69 countries. Plus you can also check out daily events, talks, Q&As, and more. And of course, like other pandemic era festivals, this one is going to be fully accessible from home.

When it comes to tickets you can opt for a 6 film ticket, film-only access, or the all-access pass. And if you’re not sure which you want we recommend taking a look through the lineup to see just how many movies you’ll want to watch. But if you’re a film aficionado then you definitely can’t go wrong with the all-access pass.

Some of the films we’re excited to watch are Athanor – The Alchemical Furnace which is about surrealist filmmaker/animator Jan Švankmajer. We’re also excited to see the number of indigenous films included. One of the films from that program that we’ll be checking out is Beans by Tracey Deer. Her film details the experience of a young Mohawk girl living during the Oka Crisis. And these are only two of the over 100 films you can check out!
