Here’s how you can ‘name your price’ for a large Slurpee at 7-Eleven stores across Canada

Thirsty? 7-Eleven is bringing back its ‘Name Your Price’ event and it’ll be the coolest way to celebrate summer’s end!

What is it?

As the name would suggest, Name Your Price Day occurs year after year and gives Canadians an opportunity to pay what they want for a large Slurpee!

Want to participate? Do so knowing that you’ll be making a difference!

Whether you pay a little or a lot, your contribution will be donated to Food Banks Canada, a reputable organization that aims to feed families in need from coast to coast.

“Food insecurity is increasing across the country at unprecedented rates. Canadians are facing impossible choices, for instance, deciding between paying for food or housing,” said Erin Filey-Wronecki, Chief Development and Partnerships Officer of Food Banks Canada.

“At such a critical time, we are grateful for the continued support from 7-Eleven. Together, we will work towards our vision of a Canada where no one goes hungry.”

When is Name Your Price Day in 2024?

This year, Name Your Price Day will take place on September 19th, 2024 at all 7-Eleven locations across the country.

“Slurpee Name Your Price Day has a special place in my heart as 7-Eleven is in the centre of so many communities across the country,” added Marc Goodman, VP & General Manager of 7-Eleven Canada.

“The idea of our company and our customers working as one to help neighbours in need couldn’t be more Canadian.”

Pretty amazing right?

Even a loonie goes a long way, Canada so treat yourself, and feel good about it.

This year and every year—everyone wins!

Enjoy!
