We’re starting off the weekend with a couple of concerts and live events. The first is Two Door Cinema Club, an Irish indie rock band that you’ll surely catch a vibe with. The band will be performing at the Orpheum on Friday, September 13th.

Love checking out the food, crafts, and cultural performances at the Japan Market in Vancouver every season? Well, get ready to kickstart fall with a special market this weekend.
With dozens of Japanese food and arts vendors to peruse, visitors will have plenty to uncover at the upcoming Japan Market.

From 11 am to 4 pm this Saturday, Vancouverites can head to Heritage Hall on Main for an exciting second-hand pop-up store, complete with “bits and bobs” from over 40 local small businesses, each with reduced-priced items and unique samples.

Vancouver is getting another Car Free Day festival this weekend, this time on Main Street on Sunday, September 15th. So get ready for plenty of family fun, food, and live entertainment for the whole family to enjoy.

There’s still time to check out one of the most celebrated annual events in Vancouver’s local arts community! From big venues to tiny book shops, parking lots and even a show on a boat – the 40th annual Vancouver Fringe Fest is doing it all.
Note that admission to the festival requires the purchase of a $10 annual membership, which helps cover artist costs to keep the annual event going.

From Island Jerky to Kona Ice from Chilliwack, to kettle corn, to vintage finds from Urban Vintage, there are tons of exciting things you’ll find at the Fort Langley Night Markets, which are back until Friday, September 27th.
Admission is free, and shoppers can expect to enjoy live entertainment as they peruse the market.
