We owe everything to Canada’s medical professionals. They’ve been incredible throughout the COVID pandemic. These people work night and day, through sweat and tears, giving us a fighting chance of beating this thing. To them, we say, thank you. We also say, go get yourself some complimentary stuff! You guys deserve it! Here are a few places offering free stuff to healthcare workers during the COVID-19 pandemic.
NANDOS
As of last week, Nandos has been delivering free hot meals to hospitals and their staff near all locations to help keep a pep in the step of healthcare workers. In addition to that, they’re also giving free takeout to any nurse or doctor who shows up to a Nando’s location in uniform or with a valid health-care ID.
MCDONALDS
Their doors may be closed, but their hearts are still open! McDonald’s will be giving away free McCafé coffees, and tea’s to healthcare workers when they order through their drive-thru anywhere in Canada.
TIM HORTONS
True North strong and caffeinated. Tim’s will be delivering free coffee to frontline workers in major cities all across the country. If they’ve missed you, email [email protected] with a request, and they’ll do their best to get out to you as soon as possible.
STARBUCKS
From now until May 3rd, frontline health care workers can cash in on a free tall brewed coffee, either hot or iced, through their delivery app.

Nurses and doctors are working double time and in some cases, a long commute is just not an option. Airbnb is offering free accommodation to 100,000 health care workers who need to be closer to their designated hospitals amid the chaos that has been the COVID outbreak, so they can get more sleep between shifts.
