No one needs an intro to FIKA. Not just because the cannabis brand has 18 stores across Ontario. But because they took our cannabis shopping experience to a whole new level, one marked with convenience and luxury. And frankly, FIKA is one of the best things to happen to Union Station.

FIKA is the first cannabis brand to set up shop at a major transit hub, plus, the store exclusively features an Express Bar, Pre-Roll Bar, Vape Bar& more. For a quick grab and go, you can order ahead on the FIKA Rewards app, ready in minutes!

Food Aisle

As we informed earlier, the newly renovated Food Aisle at Union is now open. You can expect a diverse range of vendors including Mean Bao, Grand Tacos Taqueria, Butter Chicken Roti, Mikey’s Smashburgers, and Union Chicken. Basically, whether you want a quick bite or need some delicious munchies, the Food Aisle is the place to be. Oh, and every Friday, each vendor has one item on the menu they give out for $5. Sweet!

Balzac’s Coffee Roasters

When it comes to coffee, there’s always one for every mood and every season. And what better place to enjoy it than a Toronto classic? That’s where the popular fave Balzac’s comes in. You’ll find one next to the UP Express platform at Union. And given their very enticing winter menu (think the likes of Oat Milk Cookie Latte and Salted Caramel Latte), now is a great time to be there.

Biscotteria Forno Cultura

Because there’s nothing better than delicious, handmade cookies to go with your coffee, Biscotteria is a must. Their famous Italian cookies have, after all, been warming up our hearts and satisfying our sweet tooths for years. TBH, coffee or no coffee, we suggest you make a stop here anyway. We know we do (almost) every single time. Also, the cookies make for great munchies.

Photo Spots

Union Station is a historic place with incredible architecture. Of course, it’s full of photo ops at every corner, inside and out. But the two that definitely are worth multiple clicks are The Great Hall and the Skywalk. Despite the crowds, the two tend to make for great Insta backdrops.

Bay Street Promenade

If you’re wondering what is so great about the Bay Promenade, we suggest you hit it on Thursdays. The place is buzzing with electric beats and an upbeat vibe. And it’s all thanks to the DJ evenings that go down every Thursday. So, yourself up at the Bay and even shake a leg or two while you’re at it.

That was our list folks. These are some of the most amazing spots at Union to check out rn, especially with the long weekend and the holiday season ahead.
