With things finally opening up in Ontario we’re sure you have a bucket list of things to do and hey, we don’t blame you! Lockdowns are tough and you’re due for an adventure. So why not hit up Treetop Trekking to get your adrenaline pumping in the great outdoors. Treetop Trekking offers ziplining, aerial games, treewalks, obstacle courses and more. When you’re at one of their lush parks we swear you’ll feel like you’re adventuring in the tropics!
Now we’re not going to tell you to ditch work but maybe just schedule yourself an extra-long lunch because weekdays are the best time to visit and get the most out of their parks. And with their Stouffville and Brampton locations, both conveniently less than an hour from Downtown Toronto, it’s totally feasible. So let’s check out what all the hype is about:
1. Zipline & Aerial Game Trek
Combine adventure and fun with this popular package. Trekk from tree to tree tackling various obstacles ranging from beginner to advanced skill level. Expect to conquer suspended bridges, swinging logs, cable traverses. ziplines and our favourite, the Tarzan swings, can we get an “aahuaaa uaaa uaaaaaaaa” for that?!
2. Team Building Programs
This one would involve your work colleagues so no need for playing hooky here! With remote working being the new norm it’s easy to feel a bit disconnected. So why not schedule a fun day getting some fresh air together? With aerial and ground games, they have team-building exercises for risk takers and those that would prefer to keep their feet safely planted on the ground.
3. Red Tailed Hawk Observation Course
Just a quick one tour, so you’ll definitely make it back for your afternoon meeting. Walk across a series of stable bridges leading from one observation platform to the next among the forest canopy. Nestled along Heart Lake, this tour features stunning views and don’t forget to keep your eyes peeled for wildlife sightings!
4. GPS Rally
Gather your crew and go on a good ol’ fashion treasure hunt. This activity is especially good for those that aren’t into heights. With the help of a GPS unit you’ll find waypoints in the forests and solve fun riddles. Sounds like a time to us!
5. Night Trek
This adventure allows you to get out after a full day’s work so you don’t have to skip a beat. Discover the trails under a starry night sky, where a head lamp and the North Star will be your guiding lights.
So there you have it, a full itinerary of things to do at Treetop Trekking. Weekdays are the perfect time to visit, giving you the space and time to experience it all. We know where we’re headed this week and we hope to see you there!
