From coast to coast, Canada has many a renowned restaurant and while we take pride in that, it’s really something else when that nod is thrown in Calgary’s direction. Today’s a day to be celebrated, friends because we can add one more to our growing list! This week, OpenTable actually released its new list of 100 Best Restaurants for Outdoor Dining and guess what? 3 in-city eateries made the cut!
Showcasing establishments given 4 stars or higher by their customers over this last summer, the following inclusions should really come as no surprise to those who have been.

Serving weather-appropriate eats made with quality ingredients, Seasons is a stunner in the summertime. With a beautiful patio that looks out over the Bow River, this waterfront restaurant is absolutely one that belongs on this list. We mean…. just look at that photo! It really doesn’t get better than that!

Though Allora serves ‘everyday’ Italian food, there’s no question – this is one fancy spot. With a wide range of gluten-free menu items, decadent eats and tasty-sounding cocktails, this 2019 Diners Choice recipient, is another one that will have a camera flashing over the course of your meal. It really is just that beautiful.

The ‘best steak in Calgary,’ a glass of wine and a solid view? Not only has Modern made it on OpenTable’s list, but it’s also a Curiocity favourite – making it on several of our lists. This restaurant really has it all – however, in the summertime, it’s even more impressive thanks to its rooftop patio which is romantic, perfect for people watching and of course, eating.
