Though it’s over 10,000 square feet, has spiral staircases, bathrooms larger than our apartment and an 8-car garage, it still has big Prairie energy and we love that. The Calgary castle is an absolute must stay if your travelling with a larger group (post-COVID) and will likely have you wishing that you chose another profession because someone must have had enough money to actually buy a place like this.

Feel the pull of the great outdoors but want to be pushed around in the big city?! This cozy cabin is one of the most unique spots that you’re able to rent in all of YYC. Here, you can walk to the BMO and the Saddledome, wander the shops and grab a coffee, and hit a boujee restaurant… all before heading back to your adorable little ‘cottage’ to drink wine by the fireplace. It’s the best of both worlds!

We’re not going to lie, this spot has inspired us to buy a camper, hit the road, and never look back. The incredible 8 person trailer set up for visitors is Pinterest realized, tried, tested, and approved. There’s a shower, a flushing toilet, fridge freezer, everything you need to cook a good meal and has an unbelievable view. Colour us impressed.
