You can never have too many friends, too many ice cream toppings or too many skating rinks. Despite that ‘warmer days ahead’ feeling that we get on the first day of every new month, there’s still plenty of winter to be enjoyed and that should be celebrated. In fact, we’ve got just the place! This week, why not hit the Marriott Hotel Downtown?
According to a recent Instagram post, the inner-city spot will actually be opening a skating Pavillion on March 5th with a view, unlike any others.

You see, instead of just your ‘run of the mill’ ground level rink, the Mariott has chosen to put theirs on at the rooftop, so guests can glide high above the hustle and bustle of Calgary. Seriously just think about how beautiful that would be the evening!
Of course, to enjoy this gorgeous spot, you will have to be a guest of the hotel but you were likely in the market for a staycation anyway, right? Right!
