Here are 8 of the best tobogganing hills in Toronto and the GTA:

RIVERDALE PARK WEST

This killer hill comes complete with amazing views of the city skyline. The swoops is pretty steep, so it’s good for all you thrill-seekers out there. Plus, there’s the nearby Roosters Coffee House for all your warm beverage needs afterward. We recommend stopping by at sunset to make the most of the location.

Where: 375 Sumach St, Toronto

CENTENNIAL PARK

The Centennial Park hill has been closed for quite some time but the park has been undergoing a major transformation to become a fun-filled local destination in the wintertime. And it now has a dedicated tobogganing hill for all your winter activities.

Where: 165 Centennial Park Boulevard

MURISON PARK

This 4.2-hectare park near Sheppard Avenue East and Morningside Avenue has all the best amenities including a stellar hill that the city has deemed as perfect for tobogganing. You know where we’ll be once that snow fall hits.

Where: 99 Murison Boulevard

EAST LYNN PARK

Head on over to the east end to take advantage of this amazing hill. It’s just off of the Danforth, so there are tons of nearby spots to grab food and something warm to drink when you’re done. You’re sure to work up an appetite after an afternoon outside!

Where: 1949 Danforth Ave, Toronto

LITHUANIA PARK

If you’re located in the west end of the city, we’ve got you covered. Just north of the popular High Park (which you sadly are not allowed to toboggan at), lies this amazing spot. The 2.2-hectare area is great for getting outside and swooshing through the air.

Where: 155 Oakmount Rd, Etobicoke

HUMBER VALLEY PARK

Friends in Etobicoke can hit up the popular Humber Valley Park for tobogganing fun. The spot sits on 3.2 hectares of land. Plus, it’s also got an outdoor ice rink, in case you want to check off all your winter sports in one go.

Where: 54 Anglesey Blvd, Etobicoke

SUNNYBROOK PARK

Moving on over to North York, we’ve got the expansive Sunnybrook Park. This place has so many different nooks and crannies, you won’t know where to start. It spans a whopping 154 hectares. Yes, you read that correctly. Within the massive area, you’ll find plenty of great slopes for rushing downhill.

Where: 1132 Leslie St, North York

LINUS PARK

Another North York location is Linus Park. Although this spot’s a little smaller, it’s still just as fun. Stop by for tobogganing in the winter then come back in the spring to take advantage of their many bike trails.

Where: 125 Seneca Hill Dr, North York

L’AMOREAUX PARK

If you’re located in Scarborough, you can stop by the not-so-hidden gem, L’Amoreaux. This spot’s got a longer hill than most, so you can really take in all the scenery. Plus, tons of other onsite amenities.

Where: 1900 McNicoll Ave, Scarborough

So bundle up and check out all the amazing tobogganing hills the Toronto area has got to offer. We know we’ll be penciling an outdoor afternoon into our calendars!
