Caribou

One of Canada’s most iconic electronic producers is in Vancouver this week! Dan Snaith (aka Caribou) has been putting out amazing albums for over a decade and shows no signs of slowing down. Plus, with dancing back on the menu, it’s time to get a little groovy!

Go for a Swim

Swimming pools are back at full capacity for those looking to take a dip! While we’re not trying to do 6AM laps, it is nice to go splash around and get a little exercise in when your can.

Head to the Garden(s)

Thinking it’s a nice weekend to get outside? So do we! And, we recently heard that both the Nitobe Memorial Garden and the UBC Botanical Garden are admission by donation until the start of April! Sure, it might not be the prettiest version, but it’s still good for a very serene afternoon.

Vancouver Canucks

The Canucks have got not one, but two home games this weekend! They’ll be facing off against the Ducks on Saturday, then will be hosting their budding regional rivals, the Kraken, on Monday.

VMF Winter Arts

Vancouver Aquarium

Of course, Family Day weekend also means some family-friendly activities. Considering its extended hiatus during the first year or so of the pandemic, we’re just happy that the Vancouver Aquarium is still on the list of major attractions in the city! But, not only that, it’s back and better than ever, with new experiences and exhibits to check out. Plus, throughout the weekend, 1 child admission is free with 1 regular admission!

Vancouver Art Gallery

Last on the Family Day tip, we’ve got the Vancouver Art Gallery! Not only will this enrich your little art buff’s experience- you’ll also get some materials to make your own art at home afterwards.
