Here are 10 things to do around Vancouver this weekend.

Try a new restaurant

A brand new restaurant concept has opened on Granville Island! Alimentaria Mexicana is the new venture from the folks behind Chancho Tortilleria, and is a fantastic way to cap off a trip to the market. After all, what beats a pitcher of margarita with some friends on a hot summer day?

Listen to some music

The Vancouver Folk Music Fest has returned for 2021! While they’ve stuck with virtual programming, they have made all the concerts free for you to enjoy. Our advice? Put on one you like the sound of, and enjoy some close-to-home tunes for your next night on the patio.

Ride down a mountain coaster

Vancouver’s newest outdoor attraction has arrived. This week, Cypress Mountain unveiled the Eagle Coaster, which zips you down the mountain at speeds up to 25km/h. It’s a nice way to catch a thrill while outside, and who doesn’t love a trip to the North Shore to begin with?

Check out Vancouver Pride
