What the heck? How? If you have a Seattle Public Library card you can do a lot more than just check out books. In fact, you can check out a Discover Pass to visit state parks or check out free admission to the Burke Museum, MoPop Museum of Pop Culture, National Nordic Museum, and more.

Riot Grrrl Records and Veracity Present: SuperCoze, Biblioteka, and Sofiiak

One of Seattle’s premier music spaces is hosting a sunshine-filled show perfect this gloomy Seattle winter. You’ll hear from bands SuperCoze, Biblioteka, and Sofiiak. It’s a great way to spend a Friday evening with some refreshing live music from Seattle’s up-and-coming musicians.

Stone Images XI Exhibition

This unique show highlights the beauty of natural stones. You’ll be able to see 30 stones of various shapes and sizes at the Pacific Bonsai Museum. The stones were collected in 6 states including CA, ND, NM, SD, OR, and WA. It sounds niche but it’s sure to be one of the more unique shows you’ll see this year.

HOCKEY: Faster Than Ever

During this exhibit, guests will be able to explore the “Hockey Science Lab,” where you can test your hockey knowledge through hands-on interactive activities on a scaled-down replica rink and test things like reaction time, speed, balance, coordination, and power all of which are crucial to the game of hockey. Additionally, you can explore a hockey locker room full of the game’s biggest stars.
