We know, we know, we’ve yet to even think about our Christmas dinner, and here we are looking towards 2022. But hey, when the NYE parties in Vancouver have a habit of selling out year after year, we feel like now’s the time to start booking your night. And luckily, the vast majority of the options still have some room left! Let’s check them out.
Here are 10 great options for NYE parties in Vancouver this year.
Now an iconic option in the city, Fortune Sound Club has been selling out its NYE parties in Vancouver for 10 years running (minus 2020, of course). You’ll get all the touches of a classic party at this Chinatown club, with a balloon drop, confetti cannons, and of course, a free glass of champagne.
Where: 147 E Pender Street
On a similar note, Celebrities Nightclub in the West End is hosting its own New Year’s Eve party! While there’s no free champagne here, you will be able to party your heart out into the early morning, since the club is extending its hours until 4AM. Yeah, this is for the night owls.
Where: 1022 Davie Street
We won’t lie, this probably won’t be the youngest crowd in the city for NYE. Cap off the month (and the year) with this Canadian music icon’s New Year’s Eve party! Bryan Adams will be setting up at Rogers Place, for what is sure to be a triumphant return to the city.
Where: 800 Griffiths Way
Dubbed the “most upscale New Years Party in Vancouver”, this event hosted at the Marriott Pinnacle in Downtown Vancouver has an appetizer buffet, 2 rooms of music, and drinks included with every ticket.
Where: 1128 Hastings Street
A great option for those who want something a little different from the standard NYE parties in Vancouver. Hop on a 3-level yacht for a 4-hour long cruise, featuring multiple DJs, a fully licensed bar, and an unlimited appetizer buffet to boot.
Where: 750 Pacific Boulevard
Hosted at the recently opened Cold Tea Restaurant in downtown Vancouver, this party is separated into two experiences. Those looking for the whole kit and caboodle can enjoy a 2-hour long dinner starting at 8PM, while those just looking to ring in the New Year can join afterwards.
Where: 1193 Granville Street
A pizza party to ring in the New Year? Sounds like a plan to us. The ever-popular Yaletown spot is hosting its own NYE party this year, and the main draw here is the option to have a pizza party at your table leading up to the countdown, before the celebration comes around.
Where: 1101 Hamilton Street
Speaking of celebrating with some delicious food, The American and DownLow Burgers have got their own plan in mind! This well-priced party includes a burger, a beer (or soda), and a complimentary glass of champagne for the midnight toast. At $25, it’s a steal.
Where: 926 Main Street
Now for a few different options. First up, The Rio Theatre is hosting another instalment of Vancouver’s only televised variety show, followed by a concert from the house band, and leading into a MuchMusic-style dance party up until the countdown. If you don’t know what you want out of New Year’s, this is a great option.
Where: 1660 E Broadway
Cost: $25 for advance tickets
While all of the parties are adults-only, there are some that are more adult than others. To cap off this list, we’ve got a crazy concept- burlesque and karaoke. That’s right, you can sing your little heart out, then watch a sultry dance, then go back to singing your heart out.
Where: 3 West 8th Avenue
Cost: $40 per person
