From Paris to right here in Ontario, the popular Columbus Café & Co is coming to an Indigo near you!

The French multinational coffee shop chain has announced the opening of its first Toronto cafe in the heart of downtown.

The chain has also teamed up with Indigo Books & Music to bring its authentic Parisian café experience to stores around Ontario and Quebec.

The cafes are set to start opening this year and the downtown Toronto cafe is now officially open.

Here are all of the stores that will welcome Columbus Café & Co. in Ontario:

The chain was founded in France back in the 90s.

Since then it has opened around 250 locations in FranceCanadaBelgiumLuxembourgFrench Polynesia, and Bahrain.

Described as “gourmet above all,” Columbus Café & Co is popular for its quality-made hot and cold drinks, sandwiches, salads, and buddha bowls.

“Each location cultivates the spirit of the French neighbourhood café, the love of good taste, human connections, and authenticity,” says a press release from the chain.

Coffee enthusiasts will adore the cafe’s organic beans, including the in-house “Barista blend,” which is a premium blend that’s roasted in France.

In 2020, it celebrated the opening of its first North American coffee house in Montreal.

So, get excited because you’ll soon be flipping through pages and sipping on French coffee at your local Indigo.
