Zoominescence kicks off again in Edmonton next week

We have a sneaking suspicion that we’ll be zooming down to Zoominescence just about the second it opens for the holiday season. This light-filled side of the Edmonton Valley Zoo is a classic choice for a night of fun with family, friends or that special someone.

After all, you’ll get to see the zoo transformed by dazzling light installations, ranging from ‘Aurora Animals’ to a ‘Carnivore Canopy’. With dozens of different installations stretching practically across the entire zoo, the experience is a great way to deal with those early sundown blues we all know and love.

That’s not all, though! This year, Zoominescence will also have a skating pond, complete with a fire pit to warm up at, as well some hot chocolate to enjoy during your visit. Because after all, what pairs better with a chilly night than some beautiful lights and a lovely hot beverage?

This iconic experience returns to the Edmonton Valley Zoo on Friday, December 3rd. Tickets are already on sale, so time to start asking around and planning your visit!

Zoominescence

When: Starts Friday, December 3rd
Where: 13315 Buena Vista Road
