Is a visit to a pumpkin patch on your fall to-do list this fall? Well, we think it’s time to level up and see what a Pumpkin Town looks like. The Laity Pumpkin Patch in Maple Ridge created the experience a few years ago, and it’s been getting better ever since!

Back in 2017, the Laity Pumpkin Patch’s original location was proving to be so popular that they opened a second one just to deal with demand. But, rather than make a carbon copy of the first, the folks behind it thought to make a slightly different experience, to be enjoyed by older children and adults alike.

So, they got to building their very own ‘Pumpkin Town’. The Western-themed town has buildings adorned with our favourite gourds, including a General Store, a Saloon, and a Sheriff’s Office. Of course, the 20-acre farm also has regular attractions, including a corn maze, farm animals, and a pick-your-own pumpkin patch with thousands to choose from.

Finally, we’d feel bad if we didn’t mention their new ‘pumpkin cannon’. This cannon will be hurling the gourds at some barrels every day, and for whatever reason, we feel like it has got a huge ‘Mythbusters’ energy to it. Forget potato cannons, this is the real spectacle to see this fall.

The Laity Pumpkin Patch is set to open at the end of this month. Make sure to mark your calendars for a visit, folks!
