August is a big month for Calgary, and a major event is back to bring some world-class golf to the city! The Shaw Charity Classic is set to return this month, and it’s bringing some huge names in the golfing world with it.

The Shaw Charity Classic is an event on the PGA’s Champions Tour, reserved for the world’s best golfers aged 50 years or older. This time around, legends like Fred Couples, Vijay Singh, Retief Goosen, and more will be joined by two of Canada’s best golfers, Stephen Ames and former Master’s champion Mike Weir.

Sadly, like so many others, 2020’s contest was cancelled due to the pandemic, but they’re back – and they’ve got to cover some ground!

Since launching in 2012, Patron Group, the organization behind the SCC, has managed to raise over $61 million dollars for children in need, and this year? Well, with a little help from the public, it could be their biggest yet! We’ve got to make up for lost time!

Passes range from general to premium, which includes all the beer and food you can ingest, access to three open-air hospitality venues and tournament grounds and will secure you front row seats to the classic.

However, we’d recommend acting fast because there are only 2,000 available per day – and we can’t imagine they’ll last very long!

It’s going to be a tee-riffic time, folks! Enjoy!
