You can buy a stunning 100-acre winery in BC’s Thompson Valley for $5.6 million

Ready to swap life in the city for your very own winery dream? You’ll be happy to know that a gorgeous 100-acre winery in BC’s Thompson Valley is up for sale. In fact, it was the first winery to come to the area, and there are already over 25 acres of grapes planted. Let’s check it out.

The current name of the winery is Harper’s Trail. The original owners first planted their grapes way back in 2008, long before it became recognized as a wine region in BC. And yes, there are recognized wine regions in BC, in case you were wondering.

Located outside of Kamloops, the property offers stunning views of the surrounding foothills and the Thompson River. We say keep the vineyards, then turn at least half of the property into your own personal nature reserve. Or, make a 9-hole golf course, you’ve got the space.

Now, there is a catch on this $5.6M property. While there are facilities for winemaking and even a tasting room, there’s no main residence for the owners. However, we’re looking at the silver lining here. For some reason, wineries from the 2000s opted for some truly awful designs. Luckily, Harper’s isn’t one of those places.

Instead of overbuilding on the property, the opportunity for a buyer to really make this spot their own is there. No, we don’t want to build a Tuscan-inspired villa painted some kind of orange. We want to build a concrete and glass bunker straight out of a sci-fi movie. Well, we’ve got the potential space, and now we just need the money.

If you know people who do, then you can check out the actual listing right here. Let’s take a dip in some winery waters!
