Why go to a regular old sports game when you can watch people race motorcycles on ice? Trust us we’re not pulling your leg, this is a very real thing. And if you didn’t know it was a thing, don’t worry, we too just found out about it. That being said, XTreme International Ice Racing is coming to Washington this month and you don’t want to miss out.

So how exactly does the race work? The main event consists of six riders for six laps riding high-speed Speedway bikes. Because these bikes are so high powered they can only withstand shorter total amounts of laps but it doesn’t make the event any less engaging.

Keep in mind that throughout the event you’ll get to watch twenty to twenty-five races depending on how many local riders participate. And in the case of Washington’s event, the race will be going down at Angel of the Winds Arena so you’ll be able to relax indoors which the riders race laps. It’s almost guaranteed to be an event unlike any you’ve attended before.

Tickets are on sale now and like other events, we’d recommend buying them ASAP. And you know, tell your friends this is happening because we can imagine it being an eve of great fun. Enjoy folks!
