This enchanting Alberta town was named one of the world’s ‘most romantic winter getaways’

They say that summer is the season of love, but we’d disagree. There’s nothing better than some cold weather to bring people together and Canada is one of the very best places to get cozy.

In fact, one Northern destination is so wonderfully chilly that it’s among Travel and Leisure’s 20 Most Romantic Winter Getaways around the World.

From beachy escapes and festive towns to vineyards and foodie-friendly cities, this list has broken down the very best places to let the sparks fly, and it might actually surprise you!

In addition to usual suspects like Paris and Rome, they’ve also included places like Stowe, Vermont, revered for its ‘storybook ambience’ and our personal favourite Banff, Canada.
