There’s no place like Alberta, especially if you want to make a splash this sunny season.

While there’s no shortage of swimming holes and lakes in the area, only the World Waterpark will truly ‘move’ you.

Located in West Edmonton Mall, this beloved attraction may not be the best place to get a tan in summertime, but it is among the greatest places to go swimming in Wild Rose Country.

Not only does it have 17 thrilling waterslides and play features, a zipline and concession stands, but it’s also home to Blue Thunder, the largest indoor wave pool in the entire world.

Here, you can get your adrenaline pumping, go surfing, lounge in a cabana or under a palm tree, and take a tube out to the deep end as 12.5 million litres of H20 pushes you to and fro.
